Airbnb needs to be regulated, says Taboada
The mayor of Benito Juárez, Santiago Taboada, stated that one of the pending issues regarding housing is the regulation of Airbnb.
The councilor specified in interview with Crystal Mendivil for Image Televisionthat “there must be regulation in this regard because many times the hotel sector has been at a disadvantage.”
He stressed that it is necessary to bring services closer together and reduce costs, since it is not an option for citizens to travel long distances to go from work to home.

He commented that plans a young and accessible housing programwhich would launch in case of reaching the Head of Government.
According to the social division that exists in the country's capital, Taboada highlighted the importance of eliminating inequality.
We have to ensure that the services and quality of life in Mexico City are more similar to those of Benito Juárez.”
Refering to unsafety, the mayor explained that during his government in BJ the issue was addressed by training more police officers and giving them tools and incentives. And he emphasized that violence against women must be addressed.
On October 20, Taboada will request a license to seek the opposition's candidacy to run for the Head of Government.
