The Secretariat for Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection activated the yellow alert by forecast of gusts of strong wind during this afternoon-nightin the 16 municipalities of Mexico City.
Thus, gusts of wind of 50 to 59 km/h are expected between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. this Saturday, March 18, 2023.
For this reason, the unit recommended to the population: store or remove objects from outside that could fall due to the wind, such as pots, canvas, foil, cables, etc.
Do not climb scaffolding, rooftops or cornices; Locate pets in a lower risk area.
On the street, stay away from telephone and electricity poles; as well as places close to walls, trees and billboards in visible risk of falling.
Drive with caution, since you can find remains of trees or objects dragged or knocked down.
