According to the leaked messages between the player and the former official, Hermoso informed Rubiales of the existence of problems in the locker room for some time and he responded that "in the national team, players do not replace and replace coaches."

Likewise, the information indicates that, at the beginning of August 2022, the soccer players Irene Paredes, Alexia Putellas and Patri Guijarro asked in a video call for the dismissal of coach Jorge Vilda, something that the former president described as "blackmail."

Subsequently, on September 22 of the same year, 15 international players informed the RFEF of their resignation from the national team until the situation changed.

Furthermore, the latest witness statements at the National Court confirm the accusations of coercion against Jenni Hermoso, and others against RFEF employees. Meanwhile, the players testify to Judge Francisco de Jorge about the initial moments in which the soccer player shared her discomfort regarding the incident, confirming the non-consent of the kiss.

Rubiales is prohibited from communicating with and approaching Hermoso within 200 meters during the investigation period of this case.
