Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo confirmó el hallazgo y restitución de la identidad del nieto 133 en Argentina, constituyéndose la primera reposición en lo que va de 2023.

La noticia, motivo de encuentro y celebración por parte de organismos de derechos humanos, fue dada a conocer en conferencia en la Casa por la Identidad del Espacio Memoria y Derechos Humanos (exESMA).

El encuentro contó con la palabra de la Abuela de Plaza de Mayo, Estela de Carlotto, también con Miguel "Tano" Santucho y Julio Santucho, hermano y padre del nieto restituido, respectivamente, quienes contaron todas las vicisitudes y vivencias en su largo recorrido de indagación.

“El trabajo y la búsqueda que hacemos las Abuelas es tan seria y tan tremendamente difícil desde el amor, que no nos hacen daño, nos animan. Los que dudan vengan a decirnos sus dudas. Pueden estar en cualquier lugar del mundo. Nuestra tarea se realiza en el mundo. Podrían estar cumpliendo cuarentaitantos años con una duda”, afirmó la abuela.

Las última restitución fue en diciembre de 2022, cuando ese mismo mes y con solo días de diferencia se les devolvió la identidad biológica y de historia a dos hijos nacidos en cautiverio y de familias víctimas del terrorismo de Estado durante la última dictadura cívico-militar.



Esos hallazgos son producto del trabajo unido de Abuelas junto con la Comisión Nacional por el Derecho a la Identidad (Conadi), el Banco Nacional de Datos Genéticos (BNDG) y la Unidad Especializada para Casos de Apropiación de Niños durante el terrorismo de Estado (Uficante).
