“A betrayal”, Ramírez Marín resigns from the PRI: Rubén Moreira
The coordinator of the PRI deputies in the Chamber of Deputies, Rubén Moreira, described the resignation of Senator Jorge Carlos Ramírez Marín, who joined the Green Ecologist Party, as a betrayal of the tricolor.
The leader of the PRI in San Lázaro considered that the Yucatecan politician “was overcome by personal interest” and suddenly forgot that the PRI offered him everything, he was even Secretary of State, he trained and grew as a tricolor militant, and now pays with betrayal.
“There is a personal interest and it is unfair for a party that gave him the opportunity to develop politically and for a party that also allowed him to be a government when he was secretary, but what is also unfair is that he complains that the Yucatán candidacy is going to the PAN, when we haven't even discussed it, I think they are pretexts. What I say is that he is my friend, I appreciate having his friendship and I hope it doesn't bother him, but this is a betrayal,” he reproached.
The PRI deputy described Ramírez Marín's decision as incongruous, considering that he received many opportunities from the PRI and now complains that he was not nominated to compete for the governorship of Yucatán.
“It surprises me because he is a professional politician and there is a lack of congruence and he complains that he was not taken into account and that he does not agree with an alliance with the PAN, when it is the only opportunity to confront Morena. an alliance. In the PRI everything has been given to him, and he accuses that the PAN government in Yucatán is not a good government and yes it is, it is a good government," he said.
